When I first started this thread (many moons ago) - I planned on putting a cowl on the Hog and mounting the motor inverted. I chickened out at some point thinking the amount of work to add a cowl was not worth the look. Had I gone with a cowl, inverted was the way to go ... I'd rather not cut up the cowl if I don't have to. I would have gone with a remote glow ignition too - one with a battery and switch so I didn't have to reach under the cowl with the glow starter.

Given the current state of the build - on hold - I'm glad I went with the conventional engine mount as the cowl fabrication and modification would have just elongated the build even more.
