Damn you guys are old
I got mine when I was 10 (6 years ago), but it was a necessity for me. My school finishes at different time each day so i needed one to call my parents to pick me up, back then they were so much better IMO, I had a nokia and loved the retro games it had on it back then, also the battery life of ancient Nokias are better than all new phones and they never broke down.
but now mobile phones are becoming such a necessity, everyone at school uses them sending texts during lessons and when you are outside it seems like the middle of wall street! everyones on their phones (including me)
I have the new iPhone now which is hardly any better than the old one I had [:@]
