I'm right there with you, I paid $70 for the MSR4 shocks and I have to turn the adjustable spring collar down all the way just to get the shocks to spring back up, and I'm running 70w oil. I haven’t noticed any leaks yet, but I don’t think it will be long before I’m completely upset with the quality of these shocks. The skid plates fit fine, but will bend if you just bump them.
