That model was doomed anyway. Look at how the airleron just come out of the hinges.
It didn't
. I cut it off by slicing the ca hinges
to fix where the torque rod joins the wing. It was easier if the aileron was off. Only one that you se in the picture is intact, it came out with a chunk of balsa out of the aileron
.
I'm VERY satisfied with my CA hinges.
