RE: Hangar 9 F-22 Raptor PTS
Darn! I was just doing some house cleaning yesterday and threw out the old NACA droops I had. I would have just given them to you for the cost of the shipping. I am sure someone on here will give ya some.
On another note! The first day with the .91FX and Jett Pipe went off almost without a hitch. The plane performs like never before and will really do some cool high power spins and such. The vertical is almost unlimited. With the old raptor you couldn't climb vertical more than maybe 150ft off a high speed pass before it was nearing stall. I would say you have a solid 400-500 now. More than you would ever really need. Landings are just the same, I always like to bring my planes in fast and "fly" them onto the runway...you could land it with the increased wing loading in an easy 400ft no problem. Take-off's are great...you can take off and just pull it straight back and shoot for the moon.
Anyways, on the second flight of the day the Jett muffler let go of one of its mounting bolts and the engine quit right after. Amazingly the plane was able to glide all the way back to the runway with zero damage. I now have the stock .91FX pipe on it till my Jett one comes back from the factory. As for speed....an increase for sure, not stupid fast, but not slow either...maybe 90mph or so. I have been flying my sundowners around mostly, so my sense of "fast" is a little off now. Anyways, I love the look of this monster engine on the tiny plane [&:] [&:] [&:]
