Default RE: 1/4 Scale F4U-1A Don Smith Plans Build

Having never built a Giant Warbird before I didn't realize how much balsa I was going to need. I have probably ordered 5 times from Balsa USA for more wood. Anyway I am making slow but sure progress on the top of the wing. I also epoxied in the hold down plates and the 2 W3A ribs that line up with the sides of the fuselage.

rack,

I don't think he had a set of plans for your Tiger Models Corsair and maybe thats whats wrong. He has all of the plans sheets having anything to do with the Don Smith Corsair. I will give him a call tomorrow just to check if our lengths of the legs come out the same. How are you going to lengthen yours. Wouldn't it be better to ship them back to Darrell so he could do it for you. After all he is the one that built them. Just a thought. The Waco is looking real good.
