i know it's a kit, but was just curious how thick the sheeting is. waiting for the epoxy to set would kill me. i'd just ca it then epoxy everything ounce the hull was done, but before the deck went on. just my 2 cents worth is all. i mite get one for a winter build.
CA is used to tack the sheets in place, epoxy adds the strength as it has some flex in it which CA does not. No glass sheet is needed on these boats if they are built properly. The epoxy in the wood has enough strength to hold it together. Some glass tape along the seems is all that is needed. All you'll do by glassing the whole hull is add unnecessary weight. The wood sheeting is usually 2.5 - 3mm 3 ply or 1/8th 3 ply.
