NCIS

I have been spending the better part of 2 days working on my raised cockpit area behind the cockpit for the higher canopy. I also removed the engine so I can do some heavy duty sanding on the fuselage to get it into the proper shape. Right now it looks like it needs to go on a diet. I hope to sand away about 1/16" everywher and maybe even more in some other area. That will leave me with 1/16" or a little under on the fuselage and will also lighten it up a bit. I had to putty around the front of the cockpit sides at the instrument panel so the the new canopies would have a proper fit. It seems as though Grahams Corsair is a little wider in that area.
