RE: proper way to install o rings in the water flane at the motor
Rather than start a new thread, I thought I would add on to this.
My 'No Leak Flanges' arrived (thanks Eric) I can't seem to get the flange off my header without seriously scratching it around the first bend and the new one does not want to go around either. Am I missing something on the way that this is supposed to be done? i.e.
- Should I un-bend and re-bend
- force it on with lots of grease around it
- Unbend the lip and re-bend
or is my header distorted and the flanges should just slip on and off?
