For Masters and FAI the 30-10Evo will be a better choice, for Sportsman through Advanced the regular 30-10 will do nicely.
Also with the regular 30-10 you can get away with using the 32.55ka controller (if you go the schulze route) so there is additional cost savings, with the 30-10 evo you pretty much need the 32.80ka.
The motors are almost dimensionally identical (the evo is about 1mm longer), so swapping out at a later time is an easy possibility.
