I'm pretty sure the old Sherman gearbox unit sat as high as the new DMD's. Anyone got one handy to check it?

I have at least one spare I can look at for hackability (if I can dig out the box) ... and a Sherman chassis I can measure. Want me to look, take some pics, and measure it up for the possible hack?
