I have built the HOB Mustang... good kit but smaller than I would suggest for a first build. A full 40 size, like the Great Planes P51 might be a better end product and handle wind a bit better. The HOB Extra is excellent (built 2) but not for a beginner by any means. They are good quality kits but agree with the comment that they carry un-necessary weight and are overbuilt.
