I own both the Baja King and Desert Gator (same as sand viper). They are both fun cars. The Baja King is easier to drive because its 4wd and a little slower. It will go through tall grass where the 2WD wont. If you are mainly driving on dirt, or pavement, the Sand viper is a fun car, and a little faster. If I am just going outsde to goof around I tend to pick the Desert Gator. My wife and Daughter always pick the Baja King. Good luck with your new R/C !
