Well said Scott. And please stay away from digital. Those things sniff water, they pack-up. And boats are expensive. I use the JR 597 which is a 9kg servo and I turn my avenger in its tracks with ease. 1/4 scale is sometimes over kill look at your horn and push-rod setup. Try to stay close to the servo centre and all the strength will be there.
