there is absolutely nothing wrong with the 603FF receivers, we are running for 5 of them in our boats and they are flawless.
yes the added feature of a dual antenna on the FS is nice to have but if you mount your receiver properly, there is no problem.
we run ours we the antenna out of the box but I have ran mine by mistake with the antenna inside the radio box and it ran flawlessly, I noticed it at the end of the day that I had forgotten to put the antenna trough the tube.
