I never, never put anything into the air that is going in a big gas bird that I have soldered or put together myself. I do not trust such connections or modifications on something that cost thousands of dollars and that has the ability to kill someone if something goes wrong.
Don't get me wrong, I am sure others have the skills to do this. I will solder nothing not even a wire, it gets replaced with new.
Now in my Revo's and buggies I do all modifications I can. But out of the question on anything flying that is gas powered.
