So now I can install the upper triangle stock that makes the body rounded. Here I must use Ambroid, because it sands really good, and, well, this is an antique build! Of course, you have to double-glue the joints, which means smearing glue on each surface and letting it dry. This drive the glue into the grain, and makes a stronger joint. Then, when you actually glue it the second time, it softens the first layer, and lets the glue bond deeply into the wood. You know the second layer is thick enough when the glue just about oozes out of the joint.
