Oh, there is some talk about the reboot times. Word is that the 40ms reboot time is false, its more like 2-4 seconds.
I have just discovered this same "issue" - Spektrum claims that the AR500 is QuickConnect - but it is NOT very quick
testing this feature on a new AR7000 and it works as advertised - immediately sync back up and flashes the led to indicate
a voltage drop out - but the AR500 takes 4 to 5 seconds to link back up - pretty much the same as initial sync up
the led does flash however after this 4 to 5 second delay to indicate voltage drop out - this was verified on more than one
brand new AR500 and all behaved the same - hope that they can fix this firmware issue and provide the 40ms re sync up
would fell much safer knowing that a short voltage drop will not take 4 to 5 seconds to recover - by that time
it is probably "game over"
