Default RE: DUCTED FAN JETS

Denny,

Just noticed that you're from Ohio. Here's the best way to get your fuel: Call Jerry at Wildcat in March and order a case for pick up at Toledo. That way you'll get the show price, plus no shipping fees or sales tax. When I was flying DF I would always pick up a case or two from him at the Toledo show. Due to low demand he hasn't been bringing much Jet-A with him the past several years, so you'll have to make sure he brings some and puts your name on it.

I had a Yellow F-4 with BVM fan and BVM81 engine in it. I hope yours has the ducting that is sized for a BVM fan. Take-off runs were a bit long but once it got on the step it flew quite well. Yours should be a bit better with a 91.

Good luck,
Joe
