Default RE: New here......looking for large profile plane

Not all profiles are created equal.
Some fly well.......some fly like crap.
Some are durable......some are fragile.
Some make it easy to learn basic 3D maneuvers........some make it difficult to learn the 3D basics.

If you're looking for an ARF profile, the OMP Edge V3 ARF would be hard to beat. It flys well, and makes a good 3D trainer. It's not the most durable profile out there, but it's still pretty tough.

If you're willing to build a kit, the Mojo 40 would be the best choice.....period. It flys well, makes a great 3D trainer, and is extremely durable.

In skilled hands, almost any profile can put on a impressive 3D show. But only a handful of profiles fly well enough to easily learn the 3D basics, and are durable enough to let you get over the fear of making a mistake.
