RE: Hellcat Build with 250cc Radial
I used brass tubing and 1/16” dia music wire for the hinge pin. The hinge arms are 1/8” aircraft ply the rest is balsa. Attached are some photos of the stab framed out and then sheeted.
Note the 4 foot scale to see the size. By the way this is the widest part of the plane (including the center section of the main wing) and it is just under 4 feet so it will fit in my mini van.
