Acetone and lacquer thinner won't effect the coverings such as Monokote that have the color embedded in the adhesive layer. They will damage coverings and decals that have the color printed on top of the plastic layer. Don't ask me how I know. On an ARF it's best to test it in a inconspicuous spot first.
