I just confirmed that the front passenger seat folds in the Matrix too. I will go and measure the length but this car seems like a great giant scale carrier

I owned a Pontiac Vibe which is a brother to the Matrix. The front passenger seat folds flat and so does the back seat. You can carry an amazing amount of stuff in that car. With everything folded, you can carry a stepladder with the rear hatch closed.
