Default RE: Sepulveda Basin

Art I think the move from the site that is now in the middle of Burbank Blvd occured sometime shortly after around 1970 when the original site had spent a good deal of time underwater. I have not flown there since the late sixtys untill a couple of years ago to race pylon. Just wanted to say while it is beautiful now there sure did not seem to be the zoo like atmosphere then as now.

The frequency control system in use then and now that splits the frequencys up in groups and forceing people to always pit in separate groups and not neccesarily with your buddys instead of a single frequency control board system in use most everywhere else may be contributing (particularly since it is so busy now) to much of the shoot down problems the guys are talking about here. Just a thought.
