1 would probably try to stick to a wingspan size of about 70" - 75" and about 10-12lbs. Any of the above airplanes you mentioned would work really well. Yak 54 , extra 260/300 , and also take a look at the sukhois. Some people prefer the edge 540.....myself , i have never liked the way the edge flies. It just doesn't seem to fit my flying style. Most of your extreme 3D airplanes will have a mid-wing too , and those first airplanes mentioned work very well. Also....if you can find one , a Katana or Funtana is really good too and are under rated.
