The DX3R can be made to work left handed. It will also take care of the problem of long antenna hitting those standing next to you.

No where does it say left handed. At $320 ouch[
] I will stick with hitec.
I have a DX3R and yes you can switch it to lefty... It comes with the kit,tools and everything you need to make it lefty.. Also by the looks of it it seems rather easy to do.
