Let me rephrase the original post....For a noob go out and pick a RTR kit (usually $100-300). Buy a decent NIMH which would run $40-60. Get some AA batteries for your radio which is another say $5. Am I missing anything? Don't think so. So to sum it all up: $150 to let's say $350 tops for a noob. Done. Yay.
