THe last four or five tanks I have done, have had this metal phase done to them before I paint them. THis one though, just looked so ...............................heavy and metal, I decided to keep it.

I have asked the Heng Long factory to start producing metalized versions of their tanks. First they look pretty good done in metal, and chrome spray paint is the absolute best for coverage and ease. Second, if you wanted to paint over them, the metal undercoat would be a great start and platform for wartime paint schemes. When you chip off the paint the nice metal would be there to make effective looking battle damage. Let's see if the listen to the idea.
