Thanks for your input. Interesting about the knife edge. Was slower flight generally not as good as you'd hope from an Extra or similar plane?

Since posting, I found a grainy photo from which I could see that the ailerons and elevator are a bit narrower than on other Extras.

Made me wonder if this plane is effectively a bit more on the "sport plane" end of the spectrum and not as much a 3D/aeorobat as other Extras.

Is that impression more or less correct?
