I have already use a Headplay to fly a glow fuel model and it is very exiting. I can say that it is like real thing. Like flying a flight simulator.

The only problem is about orientation. If you don't know the land or terrain topography, you can get lost unless you have a partner as copilot giving you some help in orientation.

With Jets its is more challenging because speed, but with the on screen telemetry that include distance to pilot, home arrow, radar arrow, course, etc. it is easy to keep the jet within safe range and tracking the course.

With my telemetry installed in my F-16 I have found that max distance to pilot I have flown is 1500 ft.

With all this possibilities and a camera that pan with pilot head rotation, it is easy to dog fight and fly in formation....

Lets keep the brain storm and the synergy to be some day a real jet fighter pilot but with the feet on the ground.....
