Default Dave Platt FW-190 Project

Werner,

I've got the Super Tigre G23 in my Chiltern Models Sea Fury. It is a little bit smaller than your Fw190 (183 cm) but heavier (8 kg). My guess is that they have similar performance.

The engine will fly the Sea Fury at scale like speeds but it needs 2/3 throttle to maintain level flight. Loops are OK but could be larger. I'm using a Mejzlic 18x6 prop and get 7500 rpm on the ground with 80/20 fuel (no nitro).

So, the engine will probably fly the Fw like European scale judges like to see it but not like American pilots would like to fly it .

And yes, it makes wonderful noise at full bore on the deck!
