Just started on these units last night. Stripped the cases off and loaded up some images just to make sure things were looking OK.
There are two connections required, one is the power feed the other is the momentary contact switch which fires the unit up and launches the 'slideshow'. The battery connection is simple enough but the switch connection requires very small soldering iron work, fortunately a friend has some equipment at work so he will connect these up to fly leads which can go to the switches destined to be mounted on the equipment board under the side hatch.
