All good ideas, Nat. Thanks for the advice. If I were to do this, I think I'd attack the gearbox from the side to get it done instead of doing what I did from the bottom. It would be able to be accessed easier, however, will not allow water to drain out should there be any inside the gearbox. Of course, you could just take the gearbox apart again to mitigate the water, so it doesn't matter all that much. It's still yet another option to go for. Options are good to have, especially when the gears appear to be very different based on what NB model you have. Thanks!
