I'd just use the bullet connectors that are somewhat standard for motor/ESC connections. The smaller 0.8mm or 2mm connectors should work for an 8A system:

If you want to save some weight, then just solder them together. Be sure to check for correct rotation direction BEFORE you solder, though.

For battery connectors, the micro Deans connectors should work fine:
