Default RE: Replacement Motor?

ORIGINAL: ChuckW

I put this Turnigy motor in my Parkzone Corsair so I know it will work in the T-28 too: http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=3886&Product_Name=TR_35-36C_1100kv_Brushless_Outrunner_(Eq:_AXi_2814

It was almost a direct fit and I used the stock parkzone prop adapter. All I had to do is enlarge a couple of the motor mount holes slightly. I recall it being slightly shorter too but I was able to make up for it by putting a couple washers between the mount and the motor and the prop adapter a milimeter or two further out on the shaft.

I'm very happy with the performance of the motor on the airplane.
+1 thats the motor I run in mine before it went glow. more power then the stock, I went with the plush 40 amp esc also but it will work with the OEM esc. you can still use the stock motor mount with a little mod. if you use the mount that comes with the turnagy as a template two holes line up with the PZ mount you'll have to drill the other two.
