If you are going to be changing a bunch of things, may as well look at the SC10 and add whatever electronics you want up front. It would save you some $$ and you will have a better truck. That is if you plan on changing everything on the slash anyway.

SC10 kit runs around $155 - $180 depending on where you buy it.
kinda off topic but isnt that more of a racer?(wanted to know for myself)
