RE: change Focus Sport to Electric
Well the E-Flite 110 and espirit mount have arrived. Instead of looking at my original motor for hours trying to figure out how to mount it; I was able to figure it out and get the motor and mount together in about an hour. I am using the e-flite mount from espirt so the motor just bolts on using the already drilled holes. I am using the 2.5 inch extensions. I ordered some Zippy batteries for an 8s pack but they ain't arrived from the other end of the planet yet.
Now I get to figure out how to mount it to the fuse now. Since the firewall is flat I plan on trimming the provided shim plate. This plate fairly thick so I am going to cut it to as thin as I can. Time for the really teeny tiny table saw from good olde harbor freight.
