Default RE: Tail Motor on CX & CX2 Xtreme Boom

ORIGINAL: greco_sti

hi eat2muchrice! ive done this to my century lama 6 (i think its similar to colco). I used the spare main motor of the 735 3ch. its a bit bigger and a 330ohm 1/8 resistor.. it seems to consume a lot of battery power than the usual. is there something wrong with my setup?

btw, the tail rotor speed is not that fast. so is im not sure if its the setup or the battery thats causing it..
Its all about finding the right resistor. You don't want your tail fin spinning fast, just enough to look good. I'm using a 220-Ohm - ΒΌ watt resistor. Guess and check to find what fits perfect for your motor.
