Sounds like you're half way there, hopefully the canopy will fit but there's no problem if you need a copy made. Richard is making molds with rivet and panel line detail - check out the Lanc site if you're interested

He's also going to build a 1/6th scale Brian Taylor F4U-5 - the French one. That'll be fully molded. Here's a youtube link to his current Corsair (conventional build) in flight. All electric.
