Hey CloudSkipper. You hit the nail on the head. The Extra is not a good aerobatic plane. I meticulously measured, remeasured and then again when I built mine and it still doesn't track very well. I wish I had bought the Laser instead. I flew head to head with one and it blew my plane away. The next time my Extra has a mishap I think I'll just throw it away or maybe set it on fire.
