Test run trouble.
Hello Kerry.
I was wondering if you could help me a little. I tried to do a test run on the older 2250 engine. The cockpit display shows the green LED blink slowly, the yellow
LED is on constant, so there was a throttle signal from the Tx. I tried to spool up the engine and i could hear and feel the pump is priming the fuel and the green
LED stays on solid as the manual explained. However, very soon after the green LED stay on solid, the red LED also comes on and blink slowly and there is no
ignition from the propane at all. I tried to recharge the battery, checked the glow plug, all is good. I also check to see if any power is present on the glow plug
power supply line, what i found was a constant 9.89 volts present at the plug connector even before and engine spool up or starting procedure. Is this normal?
I thought the power for the glow only switch on and the voltage only present after the priming of the fuel system. I also tried to check the glow plug's by removed it, attached to
power supply line , grounded it to the engine ground and spool up the engine to see if the plug would glow, but nothing. What may be the cause?
The second question is. There is a fuel leaks from the pump right at the seal. Can i buy a replacement pump from Flight Works to replace the leaking pump?
I thank you so much for all of your help.
Best regards.
