Default RE: Best EDF for Hoffman

Hoffman Magnetics products are designed and assembled in Chatsworth, California USA. KV: 4880
Weight: 130g
No. of cells(Lipo): 3-4s
DESC6: 1700watts
Price: $166.20

At 1700 watts and 4S the current draw will be ~115 amps.

A 2200 mAHr pack just won't do, unless you want 1 minute flights and then only if your pack is rated at 46C.

Choose a different motor, such as an HET3W and couple it to a WEMOMF480. The current draw will be 30 amps, an inexpensive 36 amp Tsunami will suffice.

At 30 amps, your 2200 mAHr pack, assuming a 20C type, will power your plane for 5 minutes.

As good as the HWB motor may be, it isn't what you need
