Default RE: Phoenix Extra 330S 60-90 Size

Long story on the header tank, but it was removed the day of the maiden of the edge.

My Phx extra with the sk .90 still has a header tank. The purpose is to keep a clunk submerged at all times. I was intitially having alot of running issues with the sk... but after a header tank and blocking off one of the pitts muffler pipes, it runs great now. The motor just needs to be on a 6lb plane... not an 8lb one....

I wont be using the header tank on the extra once the 120 is mounted. I have YET to have a deadstick with that motor on the edge. Through hard aerobatics and all.........I just love that motor. I will be swinging a 16x6 on it.

The edge weighs 9 lbs dry. The motor produces 14lbs of thrust with the 16x6..... kinda fun!

Thanks much for the compliments on the extra!!!!

Oh and one more thing.... I do enjoy both planes....I will be able to make a more accurate comparison between the two once I get the 120 mounted. But I like them both! They are each a bit different but both are alot of fun.
