Default RE: 3D setup recomendations

Thanks guys. After reading reviews, I started to become skeptical of where the CG was. Like i said, i inherited this plane and just assumed the previous flyer had it set. I bought a CG machine and tested it. Sure enough, the CG was IN FRONT of the leading edge. I removed the added weight in the nose and moved the CG back 4 1/3'' and WOW, what a difference. Now i can do just about any 3D maneuver with much more confidence. It's not squirley any more! (and i thought it was just me)

So now I'm really feeling the difference with the props. The best i've tried so far was 12x4. It hovers at about 3/4 to maybe a little less throttle, which is fine since i couldn't hover at all before (tip stall). However,i'm wondering if the 11x5 and a performance muffler would make a difference.

Thanks for the comments!
