Default RE: Looking for a Stinson 108-3 kit

ORIGINAL: w8ye

I remember 108's from the early 60's.

I was seeing them rather faded but seems as I remember the cream ones with brown trim

For some reason I was thinking the -3's with the big fins had 165 hp Franklins but it has been a few years

This is not a -3 but the color is getting there?

According to the exterior trim drawing, made by Univair in 1979, the stripe along the fuselage was Berry Bros. Diana Cream, the rest of the plane was either Dupont Red, Blue or Forest Green. I have the actual paint part numbers should anyone need them.

On thinking more about it I am reasonably sure all three of the 108s had the same size fin. I'll look thru my dusty old file cabinets later on.
