RE: How is Sig's customer Support?
I have to say that my experience with Sig, though not involving an ARF, has been very good...with one exception. Normally I talk to MIKE and he's a good guy; replaced a whole batch of balsa that arrived in "hard" condition with some much better quality wood...and told me to keep the original order to boot. Always answered questions in a professional manner. Now, one time I did talk to a woman who said her name was, I believe, Robin...or something like that. I would NOT want to discuss any modeling topics with her again [:'(] and I can assure you our one and only conversation was short by my choice.
It is truly a shame that the Sig ARF buyers are having this kind of trouble and receive the kind of "in your face" answers to their questions. I don't care if you spend $200 or $2000 the product should hold together and the company should be darn happy that customers are purchasing their product. BTW: I purchased a Pacific Aeromodels ARF Knockabout last year for about $129 and have flown about 5 1/2 gallons of fuel through it with absolutely NO structural problems. It isn't just about money here, folks, it's about a thing called integrity.
Soft landings.
