The beauty of the 2.4 GHz systems are that they are pretty versitile. As long as you follow the general rules for 2.4 GHz and keep the antennas separated as far apart as possible AND that you put them perpendicular to each other, you should be good to go.

I am not familiar with the Futaba system, so my statement is pretty generalized, but I AM familiar with the Spektrum system and I've never.. NEVER had a problem with antenna orientation and signal reception in any of my installations. It was easy enough to follow, as I said, separation plus perpendicular (for two antenna installations.. some have only one antenna and that's pretty much a no-brainer for installation) and you should be just fine.
