Well, Don't know if this is the place or not. I've written Century Jet Models and told them about my retracts. I haven't heard a word back from them.

Here's my issues.

1. Pivot block is sloppy. Retracts move up to 1/4 at the wheel when locked down.

2. Strut does not keep the wheel straight. They don't have any pins, set screws to hold the wheel from turning. They rely on the scissors and some locktite. My wheels will spin around and around. I've had to have lenny fix them for me.

my pathetic story.

On the first landing of my p51 the scissors popped off and the retracts went through the wing. CJM said it was my fault. I sent the retracts in for repair and they "updated" my set with their new heavy duty scissor. It's supposed to keep the wheel from turning. Hold on, I thought it was my fault? The new scissors are much stronger but now my wheel spins around because the loctite isn't holding the wheel straight. that's right, loctite is what's keeping the lower offset fork attached to the soft steel lower strut. OUCH!

my .02 cents.
