RE: Anyone still running a Flitecraft Miss Outlaw?
I still have a Tempest that my uncle bought in the mid '90's that he gave to me when he moved. I haven't taken it out yet. The company going out of business prompted me to make plans to take the boat apart so I can make some aluminum positives of all the plastic parts, including the hull, before something majorly bad happens to it. The original gas tank had a leak, so I scavenged one from my plane, the dog chewed the plane up, the tank seems to be doing fine. The best part about the scavenged tank is it's bigger, giving me a slightly longer running time. I'm going to have to cobble something together to hold it in place since the shroud broke a while back. Having never used the boat, I'm curious about the performance of any of the boats in this line.
