Ok, I just got back from the field. After flying the 16-8 for 2 flights or about 10 min. total at 1/2 or better throttle the thrust washer was warm to the touch but I could hold my finger directly on it indefinately. The threaded crankshaft end and nuts were almost cool. If anything the engine was warmer after running the 15-8. Probably due to the higher RPM.
